The Sandia Golf Club is the newest golf facility added to Golf on the Santa Fe Trail. Developed by the Pueblo of Sandia as an amenity of the Sandia Resort & Casino, The Club, which opened on June 11, 2005, features a Par 72 Championship golf course designed by Scott Miller and professionally managed by OB Sports Golf Management. Stretching from 5,112 yards to over 7,700 yards from the back tees, the Sandia Golf Club will challenge and delight golfers with a memorable layout routed through the rugged high desert landscape featuring strategically placed bunkers, challenging green complexes and panoramic views of the Sandia Mountains and greater Albuquerque area. The Club features a 16,000 square foot “Pueblo style” clubhouse complete with a fully-stocked golf shop, full service 42 seat restaurant & grill and a 3,000 square foot outdoor covered patio and event area overlooking the golf course and the Sandia mountains.
